Data used for shipping

Read the Shipglobal Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. The information below explains how this Shopify app handles shipping data.

This app processes store authorization tokens, Shipglobal API credentials, shipping origin details, order identifiers, recipient addresses and contact details, package information, customs information, shipping labels, invoices and tracking numbers to provide shipping services.

Shipment details are sent to Shipglobal to calculate rates and create labels. Tracking and fulfillment updates are sent to Shopify. The app does not sell customer data or use it for advertising.

Carrier credentials, Shopify access tokens, saved shipment drafts and label documents are encrypted in the application database. Shipglobal login passwords are used to obtain API credentials and are not retained.

Rate drafts expire after 15 minutes and are removed by scheduled maintenance. Shipment documents are retained for up to 90 days. Uninstallation removes access credentials immediately, and Shopify’s store redaction webhook removes the store’s remaining app records. Authorized access attempts are recorded for security, with encrypted staff identifiers and no recipient details or document contents in the access log. These logs expire after 90 days. Customer data requests and deletion requests are processed through Shopify’s privacy webhooks.
